Kids' Meals celebrates Link Logistics for their generous donation of a new delivery van that will help deliver more than 225,000 free, healthy meals each year to preschool-aged children facing food insecurity across Houston.

At Kids’ Meals, lunch bags do more than carry a meal. Long before a meal reaches a child’s doorstep, that bag becomes something personal, covered in color. A simple reminder that someone took time just for them.

Sandra and Carlos Alvarado had five children and were also taking care of their 4-year-old niece. Despite working hard on construction jobs, Carlos’ paycheck often was not enough to feed the entire family after paying rent and other bills.

The Kids’ Meals ExxonMobil Campus grand opening marks a major step toward ending childhood hunger in Houston, delivering nutritious meals and critical resources to families in need.
