Our new headquarters is quickly coming together—and we couldn’t be more excited to share the progress! One of the most striking and heartfelt features taking shape is the giant brown bag installation at the front entrance. Soon, every volunteer will walk through this larger-than-life symbol of hope and compassion, a daily reminder of the thousands of children they’re helping feed across Houston. 💛
Since our last update, we’ve seen some major milestones at the Kids’ Meals ExxonMobil Campus:
- The remainder of the concrete has been poured, giving us a solid foundation to grow from—literally and figuratively!
- Our reception desk is beginning to take shape, and we can already picture the warm welcomes that will be given here.
- Paint and tiling are underway, bringing bright, cheerful pops of color throughout the building that reflect the joy and energy of our mission.
- And to top it all off—landscaping has started! The exterior is beginning to bloom with life, just like the future you’re helping us build for the children we serve.
Every brick, brushstroke, and bloom is part of a much bigger picture: a future where every child has access to nutritious food, a caring community, and hope for tomorrow.
We can’t wait to welcome you through these doors in Fall of 2025.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible project team – Kirksey Architecture, Pin Oak Interests, Satterfield & Pontikes Construction, and Dennis Clark at Pappas Restaurants, Inc. Their hard work and dedication are turning this dream into a reality, and we can’t wait to see the transformation continue. Stay tuned for more updates as we build towards a brighter future for the children in our community!
