An Easy Way YOU Can Deliver Hope

Hi Hunger Free Family!

It’s your summer intern Rachel here and I could really use your help! As you know, I am working on organizing the auction for the Harvest Luncheon this year. I am looking for exciting and interesting items to make this auction amazing.

What kind of items? I want you to be as excited as possible to bid on many of our packages in the auction. I have been working diligently to gather things like gift certificates to your favorite restaurants and stores, spa treatments, travel packages, sporting events, exercise classes, wine tastings, plays, and more!

So how can you help? Where are your favorite places to eat and shop in Houston? What places are the ones that know you by name when you walk in the door? Do you have a friend who owns a small business that may be interested in some great exposure? Where have you vacationed every summer since you were a kid and keep going back? Do you have a vacation home you would like to share with another member of the hunger free family? What do you like to do on date night? Girls night? Guys night? What do your kids’ like to do? What do you like to do as a family? What are the experiences you had years ago yet still talk about like it happened yesterday? What traditions make the holidays complete? What are the experiences that everyone who lives in Houston has to do at least once? Email me at rachel@kidsmealshouson.org and let me know! Help me get these places near and dear to you to donate to Kids’ Meals and help me make this auction great.
