2025 Juice Box Challenge – Small Team Champion

With a whopping 5,732 juice boxes collected, our 2025 Small Team Champion showed how powerful community can be. The Gutierrez Family tapped into their network of friends and family, creating an Amazon Wishlist and rallying everyone to pitch in and support kids facing food insecurity this summer.

This is exactly what Kids’ Meals is all about: families helping families. ❤️

Every juice box they collected will go into a lunch packed and delivered directly to the doorstep of a hungry child. And thanks to their incredible effort, thousands of kids will enjoy a refreshing, delicious juice in their lunch this summer.

Thank you, Gutierrez Family and friends, for showing us how much impact one small but mighty team can make!

💡 Did you know?
Right now in Houston, an estimated 1 in 4 children is experiencing food insecurity. At Kids’ Meals, we’re working to change that—one lunch at a time. During the school year, we deliver free, healthy meals to preschool-aged children (0–5 years old), and in the summer, we expand our services to feed every child in the household. That means we’re serving more than 16,000 children every weekday this summer!

The Juice Box Challenge helps us dramatically cut costs by covering the drink portion of each lunch, allowing us to stretch every dollar. All juice boxes donated are 100% juice with no added sugar, so we can keep lunches fun and kid-friendly while staying true to our commitment to nutrition.
