Kids’ Meals Combines Golf and Goodwill to Help Feed More Children Across Houston

HOUSTON – April 25, 2025 – In the heart of Houston, golf and giving back came together for an evening at the Houston Champions Dinner benefiting Kids’ Meals on April 15, 2025. The 2nd annual golf-themed dinner celebrated the accomplishments of high school senior golfers while raising over $60,000 to support the nonprofit’s mission to end childhood hunger in Houston.

Kids’ Meals is the only organization in the nation serving preschool-aged children by making and delivering healthy meals directly to their doorsteps. Funds raised at events like the Houston Champions Dinner are critical to furthering our impact,” said Beth Harp, CEO, Kids’ Meals, Inc. “We are incredibly thankful for our supporters, volunteers, and everyone who attended the Houston Champions Dinner. The support will allow us to feed the increasing number of children who depend on us.

The Houston Champions Dinner brought together sponsors and golf enthusiasts alike to celebrate the sport of golf and the outstanding achievements of high school seniors Sophia Ellestad, a high school senior at St. Agnes Academy, and Caleb Lumpkin, a senior at Stratford High School, for their talent and integrity on and off the course.

For another opportunity to support Kids’ Meals’ mission of feeding the future of Houston, save the date for next year’s Houston Champions Dinner on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.
