Voluntariado en Kids' Meals: Qué esperar

We’re officially making the move! While our full grand opening is still to come, we’re thrilled to begin welcoming voluntarios to our new Spring Branch home. We want you to feel right at home! Here is some critical information to know before you volunteer at Kids’ Meals.

Starting Saturday, August 16, all Houston-area voluntario shifts will take place at our new headquarters:

Comidas para niños Campus de ExxonMobil
8790 Hammerly Blvd., Houston, TX 77080

This expanded space will allow us to host more voluntarios, store more food, and take a big step toward our goal of serving 26,000 preschool-aged children every weekday by 2031.

Parking and Carpooling

We love seeing full cars pull up! When you volunteer at Kids’ Meals, please continue to carpool whenever possible to help us manage parking.

Voluntario Dress Code

  • Closed-toed shoes
  • Hairnet or hat (bring your favorite, or buy a Kids’ Meals hat in the Welcome Center)
  • Gloves (provided on-site)

Refreshments

Arrive early to enjoy a coffee or bite to eat before your shift, available for purchase at the Brown Bag Café. This new café is located right in our Welcome Center and is operated by an incredible organization, Belong Kitchen.

Bring your favorite refillable water bottle and fill it up at the water bottle fillers and store it in a locker while you volunteer!

Personal Belongings

Lockers are available for personal items. For safety and to meet health code requirements, no bags, phones, food, or drinks are allowed inside the voluntario workspace. Instructions for locker use will be posted.

Condado de Montgomery

Our Montgomery County location is still open and operating as usual, serving 10 zip codes and more than 900 children in the area — no changes there!

We’re so grateful for the time, energy, and heart that you give when you volunteer at Kids’ Meals. This headquarters helps us grow to reach 26,000 preschool-aged children by 2031 — and we couldn’t do it without you.
