Several years ago, Emily and her brother were children on the Kids’ Meals’ program. Her family needed help and they found Kids’ Meals. She remembers how great it was having a consistent meal each day along with healthy snacks. Emily also recalls sprinting outside with her brother to receive their meal for the day whenever the Kids’ Meals van would honk.

Emily has since graduated with a degree in nutrition from the University of Houston and comes to Kids’ Meals as a volunteer. She knows that thousands of children rely on Kids’ Meals for nourishment each day and she is so grateful for the meals and the hope we delivered to her family.

After losing her job, Natalia faced an impossible choice: feed her family or pay rent. Thanks to your support, Kids’ Meals was there to help. Through the care and connection of her Hope Provider and the Kids’ Meals Family Resource Team, Natalia was referred to First Baptist Church for rental assistance and Manna House for groceries.

With her immediate needs met, Natalia found full-time work as a front-end manager at a local grocery store.

Because of the community of care you’ve made possible, Natalia’s children have a safe home, plenty to eat, and a brighter future.
