On a typical day, Kids’ Meals makes and delivers over 11,000 lunches to preschool-aged children (ages 5 and under) who do not have access to free school-based meal programs.
That number nearly doubles as we not only feed preschool-aged children but ALL school-aged siblings who are home for summer break. That’s over 20,000 free, healthy meals each weekday and over 1 million meals this summer!
This fun and competitive juice box drive runs from April 1 – June 30 to prepare us for the increase in meal deliveries while school is out.
¿Listo para competir? Sigue estos sencillos pasos:
Anyone can compete in Kids’ Meals Juice Box Challenge!
Whether you sign up as your corporation, department, place of worship, school, friend group, workout group, or just yourself, you’re sure to have fun and nourish kids.
Hang fliers around the office, send out emails, share your online drive link on your social media accounts, and use your creativity to collect as many 100% juice boxes as you can!
Designate your own drop-off location then keep count as the juice boxes come in (you will bring them to 1 of 2 Kids’ Meals locations when ready).
When you sign up and select to collect juice online or both in-person and online, our team will create your team’s online page.
Your team’s page can be customized and shared with friends, family, and co-workers. People can donate from anywhere and juice boxes will be delivered directly to Kids’ Meals!
The Juice Box Challenge is a friendly competition, so be sure to count the number of juice boxes you have collected before you drop them off at Kids’ Meals!
The Juice Box Challenge Champion is determined by the most number of 100% juice boxes collected. That means your pack of 36 juice boxes counts as 36.
Your online juice box collections are automatically counted.
All juice boxes must be dropped off or delivered by 2 PM on Monday, June 30th, 2026 to be counted toward the 2026 Juice Box Challenge, so secure your drop-off time early!
Please schedule at least five days in advance to ensure there will be enough space and staff to help unload.
If you have 3,000-10,000 juice boxes, Kids’ Meals may be able to pick up the juice from your location (give us a call to inquire).
Many kinds of teams compete in the Summer Juice Box Challenge. From corporations, department competitions, places of worship, schools, friends, workout groups, small businesses, the possibilities are endless! No group is too big or too small to join the Juice Box Challenge.
Registration for the Summer Juice Box Challenge will open March 1.
To collect virtually, set up your page with a free account through YouGiveGoods. The juice box options are all approved, and your team’s page can be customized and shared with friends, family, and co-workers. People can donate from anywhere and YouGiveGoods ships all the juice boxes your team collected directly to us.
To collect in person, designate your own drop-off location then keep count as the juice boxes come in (you will bring them to 1 of 2 Kids’ Meals locations when ready).
Hang fliers around the office, send out emails, share the link to your YouGiveGoods drive on your social media accounts, and use your creative ideas to make your drive as successful as possible.
Want a custom flyer with your team’s logo or name on it? Would a different type of promotional material be helpful? Simply email anna@kidsmealsinc.org and let us know what you need!
Please provide us with 5 days’ notice to ensure your photos are taken.
Don’t forget to count your juice boxes before you arrive!

All juice boxes should be made with 100% juice and have no sugar added. Our mission is to deliver free, healthy meals to hungry children and 100% juice boxes are part of that mission. Because of this, we cannot accept Kool-Aid or other pouches that are not 100% juice and will not count them toward your team’s total.
Absolutely! We have teams that start and stop their competition at all sorts of times during the April 1 – June 30 timeline.
If you collect more than 3,000 juice boxes, a Kids’ Meals staff member may be able to come and pick them up from your location within Beltway 8. Please keep in mind that your team will not be eligible for the Best In Show prize if the juices are picked up.
We have a few requirements for pick-up as our staff and truck availability is limited:
