Kids' Meals, Inc.

Recently our devoted Board member, Jim Braniff, lost his precious wife Marsha to illness. Marsha and Jim have been faithful supporters of Kids’ Meals for more than 13 years feeding thousands of poverty-stricken children.
Marsha is our ED, Beth Braniff Harp’s step-mother, and Beth is happy to share that
Marsha’s closest friends along with her father, Jim, have honored Marsha’s life and memory by underwriting Kids’ Meals’ new meal prep room and dedicating it in her name. Marsha’s granddaughter, artist Haley Harp, is painting a favorite quote of hers to commemorate the space.

Thank you to the Braniff family and all of Marsha’s beloved friends for celebrating her life so beautifully in a space where thousands of grocery bags and shelf-stable meals will be made for food insecure children.

Food For Thought

Every day in Houston, there are 88,740 children, or 1 out of 4 preschool aged children, who may not know where their next meal is coming from. Harris County has the 2nd highest rate of child food insecurity in the nation, meaning our children have limited or unreliable access to a sufficient quantity of affordable, nutritious food.

Kids' Meals is a BBB Charity Partner, Accredited Charity and Recipient of the 2015, 2017, and 2020 Award of Excellence.

Kids’ Meals delivers free, healthy meals to the doorsteps of Houston’s hungriest preschool-aged children.
