Preschool-aged children often fall through the gap of social services addressing food insecurity. We address the hunger and food insecurity for children ages 5 and under who are not only at a critical developmental stage but cannot access school-based free meal programs.

Each weekday, we deliver approximately 8,300 healthy meals to Houston’s hungriest preschool-aged children. When school is out, every child up to age 18  in these homes also receives a healthy meal from Kids’ Meals – that’s over 14,000 meals per day.

In 2020, Feeding America reported that Harris County ranked No. 1 in the nation as having the highest percentage of children living with food insecurity in highly populated counties.

Every day in our community there are more than 50,000 preschool-aged children who live unsure of their next meal. That is 1 out of 5 Houston preschool-aged children!
We are bridging the gap for those families who have little means of obtaining meals for their young children on a regular basis. We are the ONLY home meal delivery program in the nation for poverty-stricken preschool-aged children.
