Every day, a Hope Provider pulls up in our Kids’ Meals van to deliver a free, healthy meal to this little boy and his siblings.

Recently, when the Hope Provider arrived, the little boy ran up to her with a toy van in his hands. The toy resembled our Kids’ Meals van, and the little boy’s face lit up with excitement as he proudly showed it off to a Hope Provider. “I have lunch like you!” He said as he showed her the inside of the van.

His dad explained that the boy wants to be just like his Hope Provider when he grows up!

At Kids’ Meals, we call our drivers Hope Providers because they truly do provide hope to children all over Houston. Because of supporters like YOU, children are being fed and are dreaming of a future where they can help others, too. We’re so proud all of our Hope Providers who go above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of the children we serve.

The moment she handed it to him, his tears instantly stopped, and a big smile spread across his face. For this child, receiving his lunch wasn’t just about food—it was a moment of joy and relief, knowing he would have something to eat.
