Kids’ Meals is honored to again earn the distinction of a BBB Awards for Excellence Winner of Distinction recipient.
The Houston BBB Education Foundation held its 27th annual BBB Awards for Excellence luncheon on May 15th, recognizing businesses and nonprofit organizations in the Greater Houston Area for their achievements in and commitment to overall excellence and quality in the workplace. Nearly 1,000 attended the event this year at the Bayou City Event Center.

Nonprofits that currently meet all 20 Standards of Charity Accountability and join as BBB Charity Members are eligible to apply for the Awards for Excellence. Applications were judged by volunteers with the Silver Fox Advisors, a group of former business owners, consultants, entrepreneurs and CEOs, and those earning top point scores were designated “Winners of Distinction.” Of those, one organization may be chosen each year as winner of the Pinnacle Award for highest achievement.
The event raised nearly $100,000 for the BBB Education Foundation, which educates consumers of all ages about scams and fraudulent business practices throughout the Greater Houston area. We are thrilled that one of our partners, Catholic Charities was chosen as the 2019 Nonprofit Pinnacle Winner, and that partners Houston Food Bank and El Centro de Corazon were also chosen nonprofits.
