From April through the end of June, supporters from across Houston stepped up in a big way for the Kids’ Meals Annual Juice Box Challenge! We’re thrilled to share that together, we collected over 250,000 juice boxes! Want to know how those numbers translate to impact? Keep reading to find out!
At Kids’ Meals, every lunch we pack includes four key items:
🥪 a protein,
🍎 a fruit,
🍪 a snack,
🧃 and a drink.
During the school year, we serve preschool-aged children (0–5 years old), but in the summer, we expand our services to feed every child in the household. That means our daily delivery numbers jump from just over 9,000 to more than 16,000 children every weekday.
The چالش جعبه آبمیوه helps us dramatically cut costs by covering the drink portion of each lunch, allowing us to stretch every dollar. All juice boxes donated are 100% juice with no added sugar, so we can keep lunches fun and kid-friendly while still staying true to our commitment to nutrition.
Whether you donated one case or several thousand, every single juice box matters. Each one will reach a child during lunchtime this summer and create a moment filled with nourishment, joy, relief, and hope.
