Kids’ Meals’ Trunk or Treat 2021

Not every neighborhood offers children safe and easy Halloween fun.  Our Kids’ Meals children want to dress up and yell, “trick or treat” just like other children!  Thanks to our partners and friends, this year’s Trunk or Treat was a huge success thanks to Community Health Choice our event sponsor!  We had 30 decorated trunks and activities and a total of 585 children and parents attended. The children (and even some of our wonderful parents) wore adorable, creative, and spooky costumes and were so excited to visit each decorated trunk. The parents were thankful for a safe and fun-filled environment for their children.

This event would not have happened without  Community Health Choice. They made Halloween special for hundreds of hungry children in Houston living in severe poverty. We loved having their friendly team passing out candy and healthy living materials at their trunk decorated like a pirate ship !

Trunk or Treat also could not have happened without the incredible volunteers and organizations who set up trunks and other activities. A big thank you to:
