Congregation Beth Israel’s Annual Packing Event

On Sunday, January 21st, the compassionate community at Congregation Beth Israel came together for their annual packing event in support of Kids Meals. This dedicated group of individuals, showcased their commitment to fighting child hunger by packing 7,500 nutritious meals for preschool-aged children facing food insecurity
These nutritious meals, assembled with love and care, were promptly distributed the very next day!
Their ongoing support, through events like this and as steadfast monthly donors, exemplifies the spirit of kindness and generosity that allows us to feed over 8,000 hungry children every weekday.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the members of Congregation Beth Israel for their unwavering dedication to ending childhood hunger in Houston!
